Job Description


We are seeking a Communications Analyst to support a key initiative focused on large scale, nation-wide advertising events supporting the Marine Corps.  The ideal candidate will have experience performing communications to gather feedback for surveys, questionnaires, or online forms. Activities will include cold-calling event participants before and after execution to gather large-scale feedback (i.e., up to 400 persons each for 10-12 events). The person for this role must have excellent written and verbal communication. Also, familiarity working with Veterans or supporting persons with disabilities to gather information is strongly preferred.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Communication Strategies: Collaborate with the marketing and project management teams to design communication frameworks tailored to gather feedback from large-scale events supporting Marine Corps marketing initiatives, including sports entertainment events (e.g., NASCAR).


  • Survey and Feedback Design: Assist in the creation and refinement of surveys, questionnaires, and other data-gathering tools specifically aimed at measuring the effectiveness of advertising and engagement efforts at high-profile government and entertainment events.


  • Participant Outreach: Conduct outreach before and after major national events, such as Super Bowl, NASCAR races, and Department of Defense (DoD)-sponsored activities, to solicit and document feedback from up to 400 participants per event. Utilize phone, email, and online communication tools.


  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze feedback and survey responses from event attendees, focusing on marketing effectiveness, brand impact, and participant engagement. Create detailed reports highlighting insights and trends that can improve future events.


  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports to internal teams and external stakeholders (including DoD officials) regarding survey results, participation metrics, attendee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).


  • Collaboration with Veterans and Disabled Communities: Engage with veterans and participants with disabilities to ensure inclusive feedback collection. Tailor communication approaches that are empathetic and accessible, improving engagement rates across diverse audiences.


  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure all collected data complies with government and corporate data privacy regulations, including DoD standards for handling sensitive information and feedback from stakeholders.


  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with financial analysts and data teams to integrate communication data with Department of Defense financial data analytics, ensuring the alignment of feedback with marketing and performance metrics.


  • Event-Specific Insight Generation: Leverage your knowledge of sports entertainment, such as NASCAR, and the government sector to interpret communication results, identifying key patterns related to audience engagement and marketing effectiveness.



Requirements:

i. 3-5 work experience performing administrative duties, interacting with customers or clients via phone, email, or using online chat tools.

ii. Active Security Clearance/ability to obtain Secret Clearance

iii. Exposure to Marine Corps or other DOD agencies strongly preferred

iv. Experience with Microsoft tools or g-quite applications is preferred.
